DEMO: An Example Scenario

The following form demonstrates an application scenario where you want to
publish a Monthly Schedule on your Web site for your
"3-a-month Speaking
Engagements" on different days, at different times, with varying venue locations
and topics. You would have entered the venue addresses and topics previously on a different
secure form. Please give it a try! Then click the button at the
bottom to see the "result page" of what you entered. You can even then
automatically e-mail the information to yourself. See below for further
information. |

This is a very simple example of an IC
PRO Administrative Web Form. In a "real"
case, this page would be in a password-protected administrative
section of your Web site. Such forms can be very simple,
as the one above, or more elaborate if need be. All data
entered into the form is saved to a database on the Web server
so that this information can be stored and displayed appropriately
on a pre-designed "Result Page". Visitors to your site will
normally only see the (seemingly) static Result Page. The data remains
continuously intact until you change it.
For this demo, the Admin Form is mostly made up of drop down
lists so to better control the function of the demo. In a
real case however, there may be a combination of various free-form text
boxes, checkboxes, radio buttons or images as required.
For some of the drop down lists, you may even enter the actual choices before
hand that will then appear within the selection list of items.
Again, these drop down list items are stored on the database for
as long as you want, until you change them. That's power that
YOU fully control!
If your information changes fairly frequently and you don't want to go to your Web design
company every time, then this is the solution for you!
